The BCCI are yet to find new sponsors after Dream11’s ban, as the board are still searching for their new sponsors ahead of Asia Cup 2025. This was followed by the passing of the new Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, 2025, which has banned all fantasy and online gaming platforms.

Dream’s 11 ban has left Team India with very little time to search their new sponsors. A few sponsors are in line to get the next deal, but nothing is confirmed as of now.

The BCCI had signed a deal of 358 crores for the 2023–2026 cycle, along with My 11 Circle contributing 1,000 crores through sponsorships of Team India and in the IPL.

BCCI Unlikely To Find New Sponsors Ahead Of Asia Cup 2025

Meanwhile, as per the latest updates, the BCCI’s Apex Council called for an emergency meeting that was held on August 28, with BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla addressing the issue.

Reports in India Today said that the BCCI is hopeful of finding their new sponsors, but with not much time left for the tournament, the Indian team might venture into the tournament without any sponsors. Companies like Toyota and a Fintech startup have shared their interest in becoming the next sponsors of the Indian cricket team. However, the official process of BCCI has not started as yet.

Previously, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed that the BCCI will end all their associations with Dream11. He further said that the board will follow the company rules and regulations that are in place.

"Our stand is very clear. With government regulations in place, the BCCI cannot continue its sponsorship relationship with Dream11 or any such other gaming company. Under the new restrictions, there is no scope and we are facing a roadblock with Dream11," Saikia told PTI.
