Bangladesh has been shining in the T20I format with back-to-back series wins against their continental rivals Pakistan at home and Zimbabwe away in grand fashion.

Bangladesh has showcased an all-around effort in delivering results against former T20 World Champions. Their wins may have been hard-fought, but they came through top performances with both bat and ball. Players believe that the red jersey they’re currently wearing in T20Is has been lucky, as they plan to stick with the same color for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025.

As per reports from BDcrictime, the current jersey features a dark red shirt with green patterns on the shoulders, paired with dark green trousers. The players have started calling it their “lucky jersey” after winning back-to-back T20I series wearing it. Initially, BCB was interested in creating a new design for the continental cup; however, with players preferring and believing in the ‘luck factor’, BCB decided to stick with the same design.

The Bangladesh board announced the squad last Friday, with Litton Das leading the team in this format. Bangladesh will host the Netherlands for 3 T20Is ahead of the Asia Cup 2025 and will play with the same squad they announced for the continental cup.
