Indian cricket fans are not impressed with fast bowler Prasidh Krishna as he had a horrendous first session on Day three of the ongoing second Edgbaston Test against England. The lanky pacer was taken to the cleaners by English batters Jamie Smith and Harry Brook. The former punished him severely for bowling too short. Smith also took him apart for a whopping 23 runs in one over. In his eight overs spell, Prasidh conceded 61 runs.
Overall, the pacer in the first Test conceded 220 runs in just 35 overs, with an economy rate of 6.2. And so far in the Edgbaston Test, Prasidh has not learned from his mistakes, as he is bowling too short and giving too many loose balls to English batters. The fast bowler was entrusted to do a good job as the second-change bowler in the Edgbaston Test.
He also stated in the press conference about improving his performance in the second Test. However, so far, he has failed to walk the talk.
"I had a few conversations with a few of them about this game. I definitely would want to bring that [economy] down to whatever best I can do, and yeah, I think I'm learning as well, I can't say anything, it's up to me, it's my responsibility to get better, and that's what I'm trying, that's what I'm working on, and I just want to make sure I put in the right kind of work and come back here and put up better numbers," said Prasidh.

Fans show no mercy as Prasidh Krishna gets heavily trolled
After a terrific spell by Akash Deep and Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna was expected to continue to do good work. He was also expected to bowl tight lines and lengths. That was far from true, as the lanky pacer was taken apart in his first spell only on Day Three. Fans took to social media and trolled him for not supporting Siraj and Akash Deep.
