A typical domination from Sri Lanka, winning both the ODI and Test series convincingly against Bangladesh. Now, their focus shifts to the T20I series, aiming to clean sweep the tour and send Bangladesh home empty-handed. Over the past two years, Sri Lanka has been consistent in its home conditions.
Bangladesh's Form Slump and Captaincy Shift
Bangladesh, on the other hand, has been struggling to win matches and is currently on a losing streak. They recently lost a series in both Pakistan and the UAE. That said, Bangladesh still has a balanced squad, with extra spin options which will be important in Sri Lankan conditions. In-form batter Litton Das, along with Jaker Ali and Mehidy Hasan Miraz, are expected to play key roles, supported by the pace duo of Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed.

In the pace department, Sri Lanka has their “sling twins” Matheesha Pathirana and Nuwan Thushara, both expected to start alongside Dasun Shanaka. In the batting department, Sri Lanka are expected to go with their main top-order players Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Perera, and Kusal Mendis, followed by a strong group of all-rounders in the middle and lower-middle order.
