"Definitely Not Him" - Virat Kohli Makes Big Revelation On Swastik Chikara
Before playing against CSK, Virat Kohli looked very light and happy. At a meet and greet event organized by Qatar Airways, one of the sponsors of RCB, Kohli spoke about a few of his teammates. His response to Swastik Chikara broke the internet as he revealed that he does not leave the Indian batter alone for a minute.
"I wouldn't say it's Swastik Chikara. Because he doesn't leave me alone, so, definitely not him," Kohli replied in a video released by RCB on social media.
Kohli then spoke about Jitesh Sharma, the wicketkeeper-batsman for RCB. Sharma has got a longer rope with RCB this season, very unlike his previous seasons with Punjab Kings. Kohli revealed how Jitesh is very street-smart but has not opened up yet with him so far this season.
"But one guy I think is really funny, but he's not opened up with me properly, is Jitesh [Sharma]. I would want to see that really fun, raw side of him because I can see it in his eyes, he's got that mischief about him. He's very street smart, you can see on the field, he finds different ways of looking at things. So, I would like to get to know him more," he said about the wicketkeeper-batter.
Talking about Swastik Chikara, RCB roped him in the IPL 2025 mega auction for 11 crores but is yet to give him a game. He made his reputation playing in the Uttar Pradesh T20 League. RCB is already on 14 points and is very close to making the IPL 2025 playoffs. 16 points would secure their spot, while getting to 18 will surely seal their spot in the last four.
