Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is set to lock horns with Punjab Kings (PBKS) in match 27 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) season on Saturday, April 12. SRH is placed last on the points table, winning just one game in the five games that they have played. PBKS have gotten off to a good start, as they have lost just one game in the four games that they have played.
PBKS is looking a lot more solid than in previous years in IPL under head coach Ricky Ponting and skipper Shreyas Iyer. The captain-coach duo have given players a lot of confidence and freedom. The batting has looked solid for PBKS, with each batter from number one to seven capable of taking the game away from the opposition.

The opposite has happened to SRH, as their batters, in trying to be ultra-aggressive, have imploded. The Travishek opening duo (Travis Head & Abhishek Sharma), who were so destructive last year, have failed to fire in unison this year. Even all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has looked out of sorts. SRH is in need of some desperate magic from someone to lift their spirits up.
